Information about our Youth Summer Theatre Program at The Pennington School is coming soon! Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to announce the title of our Youth Summer Theatre show just yet, but we hope you will join us, and some of our favorite fairy tale characters as we take a one-hour journey deep within the trees to get our wishes!

As participants in our summer program, students will not only produce a musical theatre show, but will also develop a deeper understanding and mastery of the craft of musical theatre. Students will shift between show preparation and music/theatre games and skill building exercises to ensure active engagement in theatre work throughout the entire camp experience.
Students may study scene interpretation, character development, vocal techniques, improvisation, vocal and physical expression, theatre vocabulary, audition techniques, dance techniques/vocabulary, music reading/interpretation, and memorization techniques. They will also develop their physical stamina and collaborative skills, while improving their confidence and resilience.
To register, login or create an account by clicking the “Parent Portal” button at the top of the page. Once you are logged into your account, you will see this screen:
Under “Looking for activities?”, click the green “Browse” button, and then choose “Classes” from the menu that appears. That will bring you to this screen:
Click on the light blue “Add a Filter” button, and then choose “Session” from the menu that appears. Select “2026 Summer” from the session menu, and click the light blue “Add a Filter” button, as seen in the image below.
You will then see this screen, and you can choose “Summer Youth Theatre 2026” and add it to your cart.
Follow the registration process, complete payment, and you’ll be ready to join our theatre family! Auditions will be held for all registered students prior to the start of camp in July. Details will be emailed to all registered participants at the end of April. We can’t wait to work together with all of you!
